Biography

I began studying hypnotherapy in about 2010. I received a conversational hypnotherapy certification from the Hypnosis Training Academy in 2011, and an online certificate in Ericksonian hypnotherapy from British Hypnosis Research in 2013. I attended my first Trance Camp in 2012, and have been attending the Santa Cruz Supervision since 2013.

For many years I worked in technology and financial service product management, and held senior product marketing roles at several Silicon Valley companies. Six years ago I began working in the area of disability, with a focus on access to technology-based products and services for people with disabilities. I am a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility, and a member of the Global Leadership Council of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals. Somewhere along the way I also earned an MS in Computer Science, and an MBA.

I have a long-time interest in photography, particularly street, travel, and architecture photography, and a particular interest in how our neurology and state affects our ability to see and make good photographs.
